Witch’s Mint Chocolate Milkshake

Witch’s Mint Chocolate Milkshake served in a clear tall glass with a pale green shake, dark chocolate drips, whipped cream, chocolate sauce, a witch finger cookie, an eyeball gummy, and a mint leaf for a spooky Halloween presentation.

Mint syrup, vanilla ice cream, and fresh milk form the shake, while dark chocolate drips, whipped cream, a witch finger cookie, and an eyeball gummy give this mint chocolate milkshake its spooky character.

The first thing you notice on the Witch’s Mint Chocolate Milkshake is the witch-finger cookie and eyeball gummy poking over the rim. Dark chocolate runs down the inside of the glass in uneven streaks, like something eerie seeping out of the cup, set against the pale green shake below — the spooky look lands right away. Whipped cream holds up the slightly ghoulish toppings, and it reads as Halloween at a glance. Between the dark drips and the bold garnish, this Halloween milkshake is an easy fit for event boards, social posts, and in-store displays.

The flavor is the familiar mint-and-chocolate pairing. Mint syrup leads with a cool aroma, vanilla ice cream underneath gives the shake its sweetness and thick body, and milk loosens the texture so it drinks smoothly. The dark chocolate on the cup wall melts into the shake as you go, while the half drizzled over the whipped cream puts cocoa in the first few sips. The cool mint balances the chocolate’s slightly bitter sweetness, so this mint chocolate milkshake stays creamy instead of just tasting sweet.

It fits a Halloween pop-up, a family get-together, or a themed party menu. Guests get the seasonal fun from the name and the look alone, and mint-chocolate is an easy classic to say yes to. Served in a clear cup, the chocolate drip down the wall shows best and the eerie effect really lands. Cafés and boba shops can add the witchy garnishes for the season; once it’s over, pull the cookie and eyeball gummy and the same recipe carries on as an everyday mint chocolate milkshake.

    Mint Flavor Syrup|30 ml

    Vanilla Ice Cream|120 g, approximately 3 scoops

    Fresh Milk|80 ml

    Ice Cubes|150 g

Dark Chocolate Flavor Sauce|15 g, for the cup wall

Dark Chocolate Flavor Sauce|As needed, for the top drizzle

    Witch Finger Cookie|1 piece

    Eyeball Gummy|1 piece

    Mint Leaf|1 leaf

🍹Directions

  1. Blend the Mint Milkshake

Add 30 ml Mint Flavor Syrup, 120 g Vanilla Ice Cream, 80 ml Fresh Milk, and 150 g Ice Cubes to the blending pitcher. Process with the Hojalicious 7-in-1 Beverage Processor until the mixture is smooth and evenly blended with a thick milkshake consistency.

  2. Create the Chocolate Drips

Drizzle 15 g Dark Chocolate Flavor Sauce down the inside of the serving cup to form uneven dark streaks. Pour in the blended mint milkshake while keeping the chocolate pattern visible along the cup wall.

  3. Add Whipped Cream and Chocolate Sauce

Top the milkshake with whipped cream, then drizzle a small amount of Dark Chocolate Flavor Sauce over the surface so the chocolate flavor begins at the top of the drink.

  4. Finish the Witch-Themed Garnish

Insert 1 Witch Finger Cookie into the whipped cream, add 1 Eyeball Gummy, and finish with 1 Mint Leaf. Serve immediately to prevent the whipped cream and cookie from losing their shape.

🏷 Tips

  • A year-round mint chocolate milkshake

Swap the witch-finger cookie and eyeball gummy for chocolate shavings, a mint leaf, or cocoa powder, and you keep the core mint chocolate milkshake flavor as an everyday shake outside the season.

  • Adjust the chocolate ratio

To push the chocolate, retest how much goes on the cup wall versus over the top. After adding more, check the overall sweetness so the chocolate and ice cream don’t bury the mint.

  • Change the ice cream

Swap vanilla for chocolate or mint-chocolate-chip ice cream. Different sweetness and fat content shift the shake’s thickness, so retest the milk, ice, and mint syrup ratio.

  • Build other Halloween shakes

Reuse the same build — shake base, dark drip, themed garnish — with strawberry, pumpkin, purple sweet potato, or black sesame. Check each one’s color, thickness, and garnish weight on its own rather than copying the mint ratios. More ideas in our Halloween Drink Ideas roundup.

  • Plan a Halloween drink set

Pair it into a seasonal lineup — the milkshake covers the rich dessert slot, while a tea or coffee adds a lighter or caffeinated option, so one run covers more occasions. For example, set it with the Devil’s Eye strawberry green tea, a Chocolate Pumpkin Latte, or a Strawberry Brain Soda.
