Salted Caramel Jin Xuan Milk Tea

Amber caramel lines the cup around a soft Jin Xuan milk tea, while sea salt and coffee agar jelly add a sweet-salty contrast and chewy texture.

The visual identity of Salted Caramel Jin Xuan Milk Tea comes from the caramel-lined cup. Caramel sauce creates amber streaks along the inside of the clear cup, followed by a light dusting of sea salt. The center holds pale brown Jin Xuan milk tea, while dark coffee agar jelly finishes the top. This structure is easy to recognize in menu photography, counter displays, and seasonal promotions.

Milky Mist Jin Xuan Tea Base carries soft milky notes and a delicate oolong character. Combined with 808 Classic Non-Dairy Creamer, it forms a consistent milk tea base. Cane sugar syrup adjusts the underlying sweetness, caramel sauce contributes the main cooked-sugar note, and a small amount of sea salt keeps the caramel from tasting overly sweet. Coffee agar jelly adds a chewy texture and a light coffee note. As the caramel gradually blends into the milk tea, its flavor becomes more noticeable throughout the drink.

This recipe does not use cream foam. Its identity comes from the caramel-lined cup, sea salt, and coffee agar jelly, distinguishing it from Jin Xuan Milk Tea with Sea Salt Cream, which features sea salt cream foam, Jin Xuan tea jelly, and crushed pistachios.

For menu planning, the two drinks can sit within the same Jin Xuan collection while serving different roles. The sea salt cream version focuses on foam and tea jelly, while this drink fits a caramel or dessert-style milk tea range. Both use the same Jin Xuan tea base, but their toppings, appearance, and flavor direction remain distinct. Shops can standardize the caramel amount, cup rotations, and salt weight to keep the presentation and sweet-salty balance consistent.

Ingredients

🍹Directions

  1. Prepare and Chill the Jin Xuan Milk Tea

In a shaker, combine 150 ml Milky Mist Jin Xuan Tea Base, 2 scoops of 808 Classic Non-Dairy Creamer, and 10 ml Cane Sugar Syrup. Stir thoroughly until the creamer is fully dissolved. Add an appropriate amount of ice, secure the lid, and shake thoroughly until evenly chilled.

  2. Line the Cup with Caramel and Sea Salt

Drizzle 20 ml Caramel Sauce along the inside wall of the serving cup. Rotate the cup to form caramel streaks, then evenly sprinkle 0.5–1 g Sea Salt over the caramel without concentrating it in one area.

  3. Add Ice

Fill the serving cup with ice until approximately 70% full, leaving enough room for the Jin Xuan milk tea and coffee agar jelly.

  4. Pour in the Jin Xuan Milk Tea

Pour the chilled Jin Xuan milk tea into the serving cup, allowing it to meet the caramel while keeping the streaked cup presentation visible.

  5. Add the Coffee Agar Jelly

Top the drink with 2 scoops of Coffee Agar Jelly and serve immediately. Customers may stir before drinking to blend the caramel and sea salt into the milk tea.

🏷 Tips

  • Extend the Caramel Milk Tea Collection

Use the caramel-lined presentation with Assam black tea, Four Seasons oolong, or roasted oolong. Rebalance the caramel sauce, cane sugar syrup, and creamer for each tea base so the caramel does not cover the tea character.

  • Change the Texture Topping

Coffee Agar Jelly can be replaced with tea jelly, brown sugar jelly, or agar pearls. Recheck sweetness, draining time, ice level, and finished volume before adding each version to the menu.

  • Offer Different Caramel Levels

Brands can test standard and extra-caramel versions. Adjust the cane sugar syrup along with the caramel sauce to prevent the higher-caramel option from becoming overly sweet.

  • Develop a Roasted Tea Version

For an autumn or winter menu, test a roasted oolong base to connect the tea’s roasted character with the cooked-sugar notes of caramel. Recheck the caramel, sea salt, and creamer ratios after changing the tea.
