Jin Xuan Milk Tea with Tea Jelly and Sea Salt Cream

Jin Xuan Milk Tea with Sea Salt Cream combines Jin Xuan milk tea, Jin Xuan Tea Jelly, and Sea Salt Cream Foam in one iced drink. Jin Xuan tea carries a soft milky aroma of its own, so the tea base already has a rounded aromatic character and delicate oolong note before the creamer is added. This gives the drink a profile that is distinct from a standard milk tea.

The Jin Xuan tea provides the drink’s milky aroma and oolong character, while 808 Classic Non-Dairy Creamer adds body and a fuller mouthfeel. Cane Sugar Syrup sets the sweetness, and Jin Xuan Tea Jelly extends the tea profile into the textured base. Sea Salt Cream Foam adds a lightly salted finish that balances the sweetness and keeps the tea, milk tea base, and cream layer clearly defined.

The finished drink has three visible sections: dark Jin Xuan Tea Jelly at the bottom, light brown milk tea in the center, and white Sea Salt Cream Foam on top. Crushed pistachios add a small green accent at the center of the cream. When served in a transparent cup, customers can immediately identify the jelly, milk tea, and cream components.

For boba shops and cafés, the recipe combines the milky aroma associated with Jin Xuan tea and the visual recognition of a cream-topped milk tea. Once the tea, creamer, syrup, jelly, and cream portions are standardized, staff can follow the same assembly order for every serving. The same structure can also be tested with Four Seasons oolong, roasted oolong, or other tea jellies to develop a broader cream milk tea series.

🍹Directions

  1. Prepare the Jin Xuan Milk Tea Base

In a shaker, combine 150 ml Milky Mist Jin Xuan Tea Base, 2 scoops of 808 Classic Non-Dairy Creamer, and 20 ml Cane Sugar Syrup. Stir thoroughly until the creamer is fully dissolved and the ingredients are evenly combined.

  2. Add Ice and Chill

Add an appropriate amount of ice to the shaker. Secure the lid and shake thoroughly until the Jin Xuan milk tea is evenly chilled.

  3. Add the Jin Xuan Tea Jelly and Ice

Place 2 scoops of Milky Mist Jin Xuan Tea Jelly in the bottom of the serving cup. Add ice until the cup is approximately 70% full, leaving enough room for the sea salt cream foam.

  4. Pour in the Jin Xuan Milk Tea

Pour the chilled Jin Xuan milk tea into the serving cup over the ice and tea jelly.

  5. Add the Cream Foam and Pistachios

Top the drink with an appropriate amount of Sea Salt Cream Foam, then garnish with Crushed Pistachios. Serve immediately.

🏷 Pro Tips For Drink Businesses

  • Test Other Oolong Tea Bases

The Jin Xuan tea can be replaced with Four Seasons oolong, roasted oolong, or high mountain oolong. Light oolong works well with a softer milk tea profile, while roasted oolong connects more directly with the savory cream layer. Retest the tea strength and creamer ratio for each variation.

  • Change the Textured Topping

Jin Xuan Tea Jelly can be replaced with another tea jelly, brown sugar QQ jelly, or agar jelly. Recheck the topping’s sweetness, draining method, ice level, and finished volume after each change.

  • Develop a Brown Sugar Jin Xuan Milk Tea

Replace part of the Cane Sugar Syrup with Brown Sugar Syrup for a deeper cooked-sugar note. Because brown sugar has a stronger flavor, its amount should be tested to prevent it from covering the Jin Xuan tea and Sea Salt Cream Foam.

  • Offer a Pistachio-Free Version

To simplify tree-nut allergen management, remove the crushed pistachios and use tea powder, roasted tea flakes, or another appropriate garnish. Verify the ingredient label and handling requirements before selecting a replacement.

  • Build a Flavored Cream Series

The same Jin Xuan milk tea base can be paired with Original Cream Foam, Osmanthus Cream Foam, or Roasted Tea Cream Foam. Each cream should have its own tested formula, storage procedure, and per-cup portion.
