Blue Oolong Gin Cocktail
🔥 The Clash of Fire and Ice: Deconstructing East-Meets-West Elements
Blurring the line between beverage and dessert, every sip is a perfect union of rich tea aroma and caramelized crunch.
This beverage redefines Thai Milk Tea. We create artistic tiger stripes on the cup using a special cake cream and boldly torch brown sugar on top. The moment the straw cracks through the crust, mixing the fluffy foam with icy Thai tea, marks the beginning of your exclusive Tiger Brûlée moment.
Blue Oolong Gin Cocktail is an experimental Asian Cocktail. It cleverly fuses the intensity of East Asian spirits with the freshness of citrus fruit tea, positioning itself as a sophisticated drink perfect for a summer afternoon.
The design soul of this beverage lies in the "Color, Refreshment, and Intensity" golden triangle:
1. Flavor Base: Iced Tea Drink’s Premium Feel
We select Dong Ding Oolong Tea as the base. This Oolong’s unique semi-fermented floral aroma perfectly balances the tartness of the citrus and the bitterness of the Gin. This makes it a high-quality Iced Tea Drink with deep tea character.
2. Visual Aesthetics: The Blue Layered Aesthetic
This is a perfect Aesthetic Drink. Through careful density calculation, it presents:
Bottom Layer: Deep blue citrus syrup (Blue Curacao), visually like the deep sea.
Middle/Top Layer: Translucent tea mix. This blue and amber gradient Layered Drink structure is visually striking.
3. Ultimate Balance: Citrus Drink’s Refreshing Control
We use the sweet and tart properties of lemon and blue Curacao syrup to skillfully convert the spirit's harshness into a refreshing Citrus Drink mouthfeel. This ensures the beverage is highly recognizable and delivers a memorable Asian Cocktail experience.

Glass Prep
Fill the serving glass completely with ice
Directions
Fill the glass with ice
Pack the serving glass completely with ice to ensure a clean, distinct gradient.
Shake the blue base
In a shaker, combine:
40 ml gin
30 ml blue curaçao
20 ml cane sugar syrup
Ice
Shake until chilled and lightly aerated.
Strain into the ice-filled glass.
Create the layered look
Slowly pour 100 ml chilled brew from the Dong Ding Oolong Espresso Bag over the back of a spoon or along the inside of the glass.
The roasted tea naturally floats above the blue layer, forming a smooth amber top.
Finish with citrus
Place a strip of citrus zest on top and gently twist to release its aroma.
🏷 Tips
For a drier profile, reduce cane sugar syrup to 10 ml.
Crushed ice creates a sharper, more dramatic gradient.
Dong Ding Oolong offers the best roasted aroma, but any roasted oolong works.
Citrus zest shifts the mood—lemon for bright, orange for mellow, yuzu for floral.
