Slow Dessert Aesthetic: The Layered Blend of Caramel Matcha Latte and Coffee Jelly

Caramel Matcha Latte with Coffee Jelly is built around a layered visual structure made with caramel sauce, coffee jelly, milk, and matcha liquid. Golden caramel leaves natural lines along the cup wall, coffee jelly creates a dark base, and the white milk layer blends visually with the green matcha layer. The drink is finished with whipped cream, caramel drizzle, and a biscuit topping, giving it a richer dessert-style appearance than a standard matcha latte and making it easier to position as a memorable layered matcha latte on the menu.

From a flavor perspective, this drink focuses on the balance between caramel sweetness, matcha tea notes, smooth milk, and the chewy texture of coffee jelly. Caramel adds a roasted sweetness and a light caramel finish, while milk gives the drink a smoother body. Pure Matcha Powder (Unsweetened) keeps the matcha flavor clear, with tea aroma and a gentle bitter note, so the drink does not taste overly sweet. Coffee jelly at the bottom adds texture and a subtle coffee aroma, making this caramel matcha latte with coffee jelly feel more complete and memorable as a dessert-style matcha drink.

From a commercial preparation perspective, this drink has a full visual presentation while still being easy to standardize. The matcha liquid, caramel wall, coffee jelly base, milk layer, and toppings can all be prepared with fixed ratios and a consistent assembly order. For bubble tea shops, cafés, and beverage brands, this type of matcha latte with coffee jelly works well as a dessert-style matcha drink, afternoon tea item, or photo-friendly seasonal menu option.

Sweet Milk Layer:

Matcha Soul Layer:

Topping:

  • Whipped Cream: As needed

  • Caramel Drizzle: Small amount

Directions

  1. Prepare the Matcha Liquid and Cup Base

Add 4 g of Pure Matcha Powder (Unsweetened) and 40 ml of hot water into a mixing cup. Stir thoroughly until the matcha powder is fully dissolved and smooth. Set aside. Drizzle caramel sauce along the inside wall of the serving cup, then add 50–60 g of coffee jelly / coffee crystal to the bottom.

  2. Add Ice, Sweet Milk, and Matcha Liquid

Fill the serving cup with ice. Mix 100 ml of fresh milk with 20 ml of cane sugar syrup, then pour it into the cup to create the sweet milk layer. Slowly pour the prepared matcha liquid over the milk layer, allowing the green matcha and white milk to form a natural layered matcha latte effect.

  3. Finish with Whipped Cream and Caramel

Top the drink with whipped cream, drizzle with a small amount of caramel sauce, and finish with one biscuit as garnish. Serve immediately.

🏷 Tips

Extend a Caramel Matcha Latte Series

Caramel and matcha can be used as the base for more menu items, such as caramel matcha latte, caramel matcha cream foam, caramel matcha smoothie, or caramel matcha drinks with coffee jelly. This gives bubble tea shops and cafés a way to build a stronger caramel matcha latte series with dessert-style appeal.

Build a Coffee Jelly Drink Series

Coffee jelly can be paired with matcha, milk, coffee, cocoa, or cream foam to create more coffee jelly drink options. It adds chewable texture and helps the beverage feel closer to a dessert drink.

Create a Whipped Cream Drink Program

Whipped cream helps the drink look more complete and dessert-like. It can be paired with caramel, biscuits, cocoa powder, or coffee jelly to create a whipped cream drink series for afternoon tea, limited-time offers, or seasonal menus.

Add Different Biscuits and Drizzles

Beyond caramel biscuits, stores can test cocoa biscuits, butter cookies, chocolate drizzle, or coffee drizzle. This allows the same caramel matcha latte concept to extend into more dessert-style variations.
